▸ How it works

TanTrap works with your body’s own tanning process rather than sitting on top of it. Its active peptide is designed to stimulate the melanocytes in your skin — the cells that produce melanin, the pigment that gives skin its colour. With melanin production dialled up, your skin can develop a deeper, richer tan from the same UV exposure. In short: it doesn’t colour your skin — it helps your skin colour itself.

One squirt in each nostril twice a day.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

TanTrap is a tanning accelerator, so use it alongside your usual sun or sunbed exposure — it boosts the tan you build; it isn’t a replacement for UV.

▸ How it’s different from fake tan

Fake tan sits on the surface — it stains the top layer of skin, can streak or go patchy, washes off, and never quite looks like the real thing. TanTrap is completely different: no colour goes onto your skin at all. Instead, it prompts your own skin to produce more melanin, so the tan develops naturally and evenly, from within — the same way a real tan does, just faster and deeper. No orange palms, no streaks, no wash-off on your bedsheets.

Everyone’s skin is different, so results depend on your skin type and how much UV exposure you get.

As a rule, fairer skin types build colour more gradually; darker skin types tend to see it sooner. Consistency matters most — used regularly alongside your normal tanning routine, the effect builds over time.

Every batch of TanTrap is independently lab-tested. You can view the certificate of analysis for this product — it confirms exactly what’s in the bottle (5ml at 2mg per ml) and its purity. Most brands in this space can’t show you that.
